New Revision 948:9cb35866cda0 in the main repository

I just pushed Revision 948:9cb35866cda0 in the main repository. It contains a modification to restarts where the master sends a message to each worker when it is ready to receive and process the data. WIthout this - the master can get overrun with messages on some platforms like Kraken.
