learned about geometrical source terms, primarily 2.5D (ehansen10202012)
learned how to use valgrind and wrote a script to automate testing for memory leaks. This can become part of the test suite in the near future. (ehansen10182012)
updated the 3DCoolingJets page with some new images/movies. I still need to play around with the volume renderings. The strong cooling case still won't run in 3D, even with the memory leaks patched. Getting this run to work is not crucial, so I will put this on the back burner for now, especially since Shule wants to use the Kraken token this week. I emailed Francisco about getting the parameters to set up a run to simulate his lab experiment.
found a typo in my H-alpha emission routine. Fixing it helped a little bit, but my data still does not match Anna's data. I am waiting to get a copy of the shock code that she is using so that I can figure out the source of our discrepancies. The following image is from before the typo fix, but this is essentially where I'm at now. v30_p2_f0.01.png
started setting up a physically realistic run for the Mach Stem project. I still need to play around with the parameters and refinement, but I should have images later this week.
