Meeting Update

Last week:

  • I spent the week so far debugging and testing the rad feedback module, see blog post. I began writing a page on this module as well, here (figured this was useful for new users, as well as my thesis — which will likely incorporate this as a section).

To still do this week:

  • Email people back who have gotten in touch with me about paper
  • Email people links to my paper (i.e. do some networking)
  • Look into Marshak waves and how they pertain to my sink tests
  • Address the referee report for the CF paper
  • Set up a 2D collapse problem, motivated by different timescales for the radiation equations.

Things I am thinking of putting on the back burner for now:

  • Getting Rad Feedback working and tested in 3D, as well as AMR

Things I want to begin working on next week

  • Next week I am thinking of switching gears and beginning on outflow feedback. This entails reading the paper again, planning the code revisions, and then of course, coding them.
  • Reading papers on radiation feedback.
  • Applying for conference talks/posters.
