Using AstroBEAR to exam the theory

I have calculated the density variation in equatorial plane of the giant in a binary system. The parameters are:

Temperature: 3000 K

Giant mass: 1.01 SM

Companion mass: 0.5 SM

Separation: 4 AU

This plot shows the density variation of 0.2 AU, 0.4 AU and 1 AU in equatorial plane of the giant compared to the highest density at that radius.

Absolute density profile at 1 AU.

I plotted the isodensity contour of equatorial plane. It is not a circle indeed. The 3d contour has a hole because of the singularity on z-axis.

If we use AstroBEAR to exam the theory, I suggest:

Simulation zone: 10 AU * 10 AU * 5 AU

Giant boundary at 0.2 AU

Base resolution at 100*100*50

AMR level at 5 or 6

the smallest cell will be 1/32 AU = 0.03125 AU or 1/64 AU = 0.015625 AU.
