3D Cooling Jets


Using a Refinement Object

The movies in this section show how I was able to limit the refinement using a refinement object which travels with the head of the jet. These simulations are old ones from when I was still simulating the full 3D grid. I have since simplified the problem by taking advantage of some symmetries. Current set ups simulate a quarter of the grid, and can be run in both 2D and 2.5D (cylindrical coordinates with axial symmetry).
