Core Grid

The region of a grid described in the NodeInfo structure by the mGlobals dimensions. This region, combined with the ghost regions, form an extended grid. The core grid, however, is the only part of this extended region that gets integrated when the problem is advanced a step. The boundaries of the core grid are sometimes also called the grid's physical boundaries, although the use of this term is somewhat misleading.
