Data File Tutorials
These tutorials explain the parameters in AstroBEAR's core data files. These pages are intended to be practical guides, not discussions of the systems controlled by these files. Wherever possible, recommended default settings are provided.
global.data — The core AstroBEAR data file, controlling the domain, timestep, and AMR parameters.
physics.data — Contains parameters that control the physical properties of the simulation.
solver.data — Selects and controls the behavior of AstroBEAR's numerical solvers.
modules.data — A depracated file containing settings for the default (ambient) domain properties. (Depracated - use an AmbientObject instead)
io.data — Selects the I/O file format used by AstroBEAR.
communication.data — A soon-to-be-deprecated file that contains control options for AstroBEAR's messaging architecture.
profile.data — An AstroBEAR-generated file containing data used to optimize performance on a particular machine.
process.data — An optional AstroBEAR file containing options for outputting various diagnostics
