Forest

The forest structure is not formally defined within the BearCLAW code, but is worth discussing nonetheless. It can best be described as a cluster of trees, with the root nodes anchored to a single node called the forest seed. The forest seed is not part of the AMR algorithm, but each root node corresponds to one of the base grids of the AMR structure.
