profile.data Explained

Unlike the other data files, profile.data is generated by AstroBEAR instead of by the user. When AstroBEAR is run without profile.data in the problem directory, it runs a quick diagnostic of performance times on the machine. This information produces a series of coefficients that are used to weight cell costs, optimizing the distribution of data.
