I compiled and ran version 166 of mpibear this morning. I tried a couple runs of the sample files used in the naive user documentation, and had the same problem from last Wednesday and last Friday, namely that the simulation stopped in the 22nd frame. When I copied over the sample data files from contrib/astro/template_data_files and ran them, the test completed fine.

This is pretty much the same test that I did last Friday with xbear, and the same result. I suspect the problem may lie with the original data files from the documentation; perhaps the data files from contrib/astro/template_data_files should be come the new naive user test files.
