Isotropic Turbulence

Problem Background

This problem sets up a solenoidal forcing function that can be used to investigate isotropic turbulence. The test problem is 2D and forces primarily at a wave number of 64. The inverse cascade sets in and drives motions at longer wavelengths.

Reason for Test

This test is run in order to verify that parallel FFT plan works. This problem should only be run in fixed grid.
