1D Radiative Shock
Problem Background
This module is used to study steady, 1D, radiative shocks. (no MHD)
Reason for Test
This test is run in order to check that Z cooling (forbidden line emission) is working properly. Testing Z cooling effectively tests NEQ cooling as well which includes routines related to ionization and recombination.
Results
Here we plot log temperature. You can see the shock interface and the cooling region that follows.
