Trac Hosting

Important Directories

The AstroBEAR wiki is hosted on clover.pas.rochester.edu. Important directory locations include:

• Trac projects - /data/trac
• SVN repositories - /data/repositories
• Website root - /var/www
• Doxygen root directory - /var/www/doc

Important Files

Apache Configuration File: /etc/apache2/sites-available/trac

This file defines certain web hosting attributes for Apache; most importantly:

DocumentRoot

The directory of content apache first looks to when the website is loaded using only the server name, i.e. ​http://clover.pas.rochester.edu.

<Location /trac>

Tag specifying a website directory name. Attributes for that website are included within the Location tag (such as setting PythonOptions). /trac states that the website address shall display "/trac" following the server's name, i.e. ​http://clover.pas.rochester.edu/trac.

TracEnvParentDir

The directory on the server containing all available trac projects.

TracUriRoot

The name of the website directory a trac will use as a root directory. This should match the same directory as that specified in the Location tag.
