3 | 3 | Have a working 2D solution on the grid — As shown in Figure 1, Astrobear attempts to interpolate between the progenitor density profile (red diamonds, Fig. 1) to arbitrary positions on the mesh (i.e. cell centers, blue curve). It then feeds these density values into the HSE numerical integrator and populates the zones with a pressure profile in HSE, working its way from the ambient boundary in (Fig. 2). The values of the ambient medium are just the constant progenitor profiles beyond a radius containing 3 solar masses ($r=7.26 e+9 ~cm$). |
