Planetary Nebula Library: Clump + Wind Hydro Models

This page gives a variety of models where we explore a situation where a clump is sent into the ambient medium, and then at a later time, a wind is launched the form of a jet (defined as a wind without an opening angle) or a diverging wind (defined as a wind with an opening angle).

Below are the general densities for the different types of ambient environments. Please note that the density distribution for each environment is described on the PN Library page.

Ambient Parameters

Stratified + Toroidal Density 40,000 cm-3


The models below are organized by decreasing relative velocities (all models in these groups also have the same launch times). In each group you will find a list of parameters that are the same for each model in that group. In the tables, the models are separated by their ambient density distribution first, then the type of ind that follows the clump. After that point any changes to the parameters that are different from the other models in the group are listed. Any parameters that are different than the standard parameters listed above are in bold. Please read the tables carefully.
